TrentinoSalute4.0, the memorandum of understanding between PAT, APSS and FBK has been extended
(PAT Press release dated June 7, 2024)
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Trento Province Healthcare System and Fondazione Bruno Kessler for the regulation of the Digital Health Competence Center, TrentinoSalute4.0, has been approved. This was decided today by the Council, on the recommendation of the Councillor for Health and Social Policies. The new agreement is valid until December 31, 2025 and guarantees the functioning of this permanent organizational structure, which has the task of developing digital health in the Province of Trento.
TrentinoSalute4.0 was established by the Provincial Council in 2016; the Center is jointly governed by the Province, APSS and FBK, and its operation is ensured through specific provincial funding, tied to specific purposes, allocated to Fondazione Bruno Kessler, to which it is entrusted with administrative responsibility.
The Center acts as a “meeting point” between the health system, research and the local area, a tool for cohesion between the directions of health planning, the innovation needs expressed by the provincial health system and the opportunities offered by research and new digital technologies.
