OUR WORK

TrentinoSalute4.0 identifies digital health as a critical tool to face the new challenges of health systems, increase their efficiency, improve the quality of life of citizens and the work of health workers, and give a boost to the market in the healthcare sector.

1

HEALTHCARE SYSTEM INNOVATION

Adopting the user-driven approach, based on the active involvement of end users for the co-design and validation of new ICT-enabled health services

2

LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Adopting a quadruple-helix “system” approach, through which “relationships” between the most relevant local institutional, scientific, industrial and social components are to be consolidated and developed.

3

MARKET

Involving companies and promoting the exchange of ideas, skills and technologies. The sharing of knowledge and activities results with enterprises will encourage technology transfer, the development and competitiveness of enterprises also on a national and international scale

METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH

TrentinoSalute4.0’s aim is to structure inter-institutional collaboration as a “meeting point” between the Healthcare System, Research and the local area, thus becoming the cohesion tool between the health planning guidelines, the innovation needs expressed by the Trento Province Healthcare System (SSP) and the opportunities offered by research and digital technologies

THE CITIZEN HEALTH RECORDS – TREC

The Citizen’s Clinical Record (TreC) is a multiservice muliple-module platform that enables users to manage their health. This particular structure allows the system to be flexible (one single component can be modified, thus leaving the rest of the platform intact) and adaptable (i.e. other modules can be integrated into the system, so as to expand services provided).

The system is able to integrate:
✦  on the one hand, the electronic medical records, from private and public health
✦ on the other hand, the patient-generated data, i.e. the PHR (Personal Health Records) – which collect data provided by citizens (for example, lifestyle data – exercise, diet – recorded by wearable devices, such as pedometer bracelets, smartwatches, etc.).

These large amounts of data are the input for the services developed by TS4.0, such as TreC_Diabete, an app capable of integrating artificial intelligence systems, predictive models and Virtual Coach technology based on the Horus.AI module, which defines contextualized objectives and the patient care plan.

CREATING, SHARING AND GROWING TOGETHER

The three pillars of TrentinoSalute4.0 incorporate the THREE “Cs”: Creation, Sharing and Growth, which are the three keywords for contributing shared value to the local area. The CCSD embraces this philosophy, as we believe that in Digital Healthcare it is important to generate value not only for oneself and for professionals in the sector, but also for the society in which it operates, bringing tangible benefits to people, to the economy and to the local area.

RESEARCH

Promotion and development of European, national and local projects in healthcare system and digital health innovation.
