As of December 1, online appointments can be scheduled on TreC+ only
The CUP (Centralized appointment scheduling services) portal will be discontinued; phone scheduling services will remain available
A new step forward for digital health in Trentino, focused on strengthening services and enhancing security. Starting December 1, the online CUP system will be discontinued. To make appointments for visits and exams online, TreC+ will be the sole digital access point, available both via the portal trec.trentinosalute.net and through the app. This change is part of a broader and more structured process to transform and strengthen health services aimed at offering an increasing number of services that can be scheduled online in an easy and secure way. Online scheduling will also be extended to priority health services (B, D, P – formerly RAO), which until now could be scheduleed only through CUP’s telephone service. In addition to digital channels, residents can always use the telephone CUP calling 0461 379400 to schedule services provided by the Trento Province Healthcare System, including those with U (urgent) priority.
TreC+ thus becomes the single digital access point for scheduling, viewing, and managing visits, tests, telemonitoring services, and many other health services, in am easy and secure manner, while ensuring maximum privacy protection and data security. Access to TreC+ requires SPID or CIE (Digital Identity Card). Users are therefore encouraged to activate these credentials as soon as possible to be ready when the new TreC+ features go live. The most anticipated update is the ability—previously unavailable—to schedule priority services and diagnostic imaging exams through TreC+, significantly expanding the range of services accessible online. During a transition period, through March 31, 2026, it will still be possible to schedule services online using only the Health Card, in order to facilitate the transition to the new system.
The telephone CUP will remain fully operational at 0461 379400 (the number 848 816 816 is being phased out). When calling, users should have their taxpayer id. n. (codice fiscale) and the NRE code for the electronic prescription issued by their physician available (this will be mandatory starting April 1, 2026).
To support this important change in how Provincial Health Service appointments are made and to ensure broad and effective communication, the Trento Province Healthcare System is launching an information campaign via the web, social media, and printed materials distributed at healthcare facilities, doctors’ offices, and pharmacies across the region.
