TreC+ has been updated: even easier and closer to the needs of citizens

After those introduced in August, new features that make the app even easier and more intuitive to use

Important new features are underway for residents enrolled in the Trento province Healthcare System: after the new ones introduced in August, some important updates are available for TreC+, the mobile app that allows access to the Electronic Health Records, health services and health management for Trentino citizens.”
Improvements for the TreC+ app go on. By now, the platform is used by most APSS patients, and if we have reached this result it is also thanks to the contribution of the entire population, which has been able to respond positively to this application – this is the comment of the councilor for health and social policies, Mario Tonina. These features make the app easier and more intuitive, because they concern not only access methods, but also the organization of information that allows for a better management of users’ health data. We now need to gather new tips and suggestions to bring improvements to the system. For this reason, in collaboration with the University of Trento, we have sent TreC+ users an email with a questionnaire; the information we will collect will help us develop and improve the functionality of the TreC+ app “.

The upgraded versions are available in the Android and iOS app stores, and concern:

  • “Push” notifications for new reports: receive direct notification on your mobile phone for new reports for the person who delegated you to view their TreC+.
  • Mobile SPID Login:  Securely log in with SPID to the TreC+ app. You can activate the TreC+ App using your SPID, the national digital identity system. This makes accessing the app easier and more secure. App activation mode remains active through access to the web platform (trec.trentinosalute.net).
  • Vaccinations section: book vaccinations in a dedicated section of the TreC+ app. This makes it easier for users to look up and make vaccination appointments.
  • Change pin: You will be able to change the access pin to the TreC+ app directly from the mobile application.
  • URP form:  users can fill out a form for reports to the APSS URP (Public Relations Office) directly from the TreC+ app.

In addition to these new features, a number of other technology and safety adaptations will also be released.

The TreC+ app is available for free to Trentino residents on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store.

The features released in August included:

  • integration with Mypay: to pay for health care services from TreC+;
  • health data push notifications: a push notification is sent when a delegated user accesses the delegator’s TreC+, or when a report/prescription is viewed from the web platform;
  •  report and prescription archiving: ability to hide a report/prescription from the general list. A search filter has been added that allows viewing the hidden reports/prescriptions;
  • mobile upload of off-line generated reports: possibility to upload personal documents (reports or other health documents) from users’ mobiles.

Usage data confirm that the platform is highly appreciated by users:

  • labs booked in October: 38,724;
  • app accesses in October: 1,118,792;
  • total accesses in October (portal + app): 1,394,143;
  • primary care physician changes in October: 4,303;
  • reports in October: 400,000 unencrypted report views, while the pdfs of the downloaded reports are 200,000 (equal to the monthly average).
