TreC+: training meetings for residents
“TreC+: what it is, how to access it, services offered and future developments”: this is the title of the training course offered by the Università della Terza Età e del tempo disponibile del Trentino (a local continuing education program for seniors) – Franco Demarchi Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Health, Social Policies, Disability and Family of the Autonomous Province of Trento. The first meeting was held a few days ago in Tesero. The calendar of events also includes dates in 2023.
A collaboration between the Province and Università della terza età e del tempo disponibile to ensure the dissemination of the skills that will enable practitioners and citizens, particularly the older adult population, to interact with digital tools. Università della terza età e del tempo disponibile del Trentino -Fondazione Franco Demarchi in collaboration with the Department of Health and Social Policy of the Province, reserves, in the new 2022-2023 curriculum, 17 meetings on digital health and the TreC+ platform distributed across the region.
The numbers for TreC+ usage, which has nearly 250 thousand users and sees, in the month of June 2022 alone, 21,960 blood draws scheduled, 5459 appointments made, 598,172 prescriptions viewed/downloaded, and 463,749 referrals downloaded, more than 40% of the total, are important.
The Autonomous Province of Trento has been investing for years in the promotion and development of digital health in the province, establishing, in 2016, the Centre of competence on digital health, TrentinoSalute4.0, in which the Province, the Trento Province Healthcare System and Fondazione Bruno Kessler participate.
The goal of the mission is acommunity approach, innovation and equality are the key words of the sixth mission of the PNRR, specifically dedicated to health: services closer to patients, in every area of the country, including through new technologies and the opportunities they offer, both in terms of services to citizens and in terms of the growth and development of the entire system.
The TreC+ platform, available to all Trentino residents, on the one hand allows access to their Electronic Health Records, and therefore to their health data and documents, and on the other access to health services, including telemedicine.
“A health system, provincial health councillor Stefania Segnana said – increasingly close to citizens but also citizens increasingly involved and protagonists in the management of their health”.
