The EU project on training for the digital transformation of health and care #TBDTHC is wrapping up

The EU project coordinated by Fondazione Bruno Kessler, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Department of health and social policies) and involving also the Trento Province Healthcare System, within TrentinoSalute4.0 is coming to an end.

The closing event of TBDTHC   (Training Blueprint for the Digital Transformation of Health and Care), a EU project co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, is scheduled for next Tuesday, July 13, 2021. The project, dedicated to digital training in health and care, aims to increase the digital and soft skills of health professionals, in order to reduce the current gap between digital technology trends and their effective use in health.

The event will be hosted during the 4th international conference #MEI 2021 – Medical Education Informatics – held virtually – organized by the University of Nottingham, UK, and the University of Malaysia, Malaysia, July 12-15, 2021.

There will be two project presentation events: a first session in the morning, starting at 10.30 am, during which the main results of two studies will be presented (“Digital Health Technology Trends & Implications for health professionals” and “Digital & Soft Skills of tomorrow’s health professionals”) which will be followed by an illustration of the pilot training courses, the so-called Digital Health Learning Labs, of each partner (PAT Department of Health and Social Policies, the University of Nottingham, the University of Applied Sciences Fachhof Kufstein (Austria), the Technische Universität of Dresden – TUD (Germany), CoGeS (Cooperativa Don Milani of Venice) and Stichting Smart Homes, a consultancy agency in the Netherlands.

During the afternoon session on July 13, from 1.30 pm, the fourth study produced by the “Digital Health Training Guidelines” project and the conclusions on the experience of TrentinoSalute4.0 in the field of digital health will be illustrated.
