Understanding is good for your health: another book with the “certification sticker” is now in the library
The book that will be presented on Thursday, January 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the Sala degli Affreschi Hall of the City Library on via Roma, has been added to the bibliography which aims to direct the reader towards texts that have been scientifically reviewed by a working group composed of physicians and librarians. The “Blue Sticker Certified” books will find a special shelf in the medical books section of the library.
Marina Sozzi talks with Marco Clerici, general practitioner and clinical consultant of Fondazione Bruno Kessler‘s “FBK for Health” program, and presents her latest book Non sono il mio tumore (Chiarelettere, 2019).
The author, born in Pavia in 1960, graduated in Philosophy from the University of Turin, and studied in Paris and at the Scuola Normale di Pisa. Trainer, third sector expert, she is engaged in studying the illness and end-of-life experiences, and the rituals of death and mourning. Since 2012 she has been running the blog “You can say death“.
The event, organized by the City Library, Fondazione Bruno Kessler – “FBK for Health” and the Trento Medical Association, is one of the results of the project dedicated to Public Health Literacy (Understanding is good for your health), which aims to identify and report reliable and quality sources of information to users who want to know more on health-related issues.
