EXERCISE, COGNITIVE TRAINING AND NUTRITION. INTERVIEW WITH LUIGI FONTANA
Luigi Fontana, one of the world’s leading experts in the field of nutrition and longevity, returns to Trento next Friday, May 18, 2018 to talk about the importance of nutrition, physical exercise and cognitive training in the prevention of the most common chronic diseases and in the slowdown of the aging process. Fontana’s talk, scheduled for 2.30 pm at the Fondazione Bruno Kessler’s Povo (Trento) location, is part of the “Key to Health” project, which involves the FBK “Health and Wellbeing” High-Impact Area, the Department of Health and Social Policies of the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT), the Provincial Agency for Healthcare Services (APSS) and the National Institute of Occupational Accident Insurance (INAIL).
Luigi Fontana is currently a full professor at the University of Brescia and Washington University, St. Louis, where he carries out research and teaching activities in the field of preventive medicine and nutrition sciences. His most recent publications include “La Felicità ha il sapore della salute” (with Vittorio Fusari), published in 2018 with Slow Food Editore, and “La grande via” (with Franco Berrino) published in 2017 with Mondadori.
