HEALTH AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!
Its name is TreC_FSE and it is a new App (both for iOS and Android), developed by the APSS/FBK joint laboratory of TrentinoSalute4.0 in agreement with the Health Department and the General Director Support and ICT Service
TreC_FSE allows citizens to register for the TreC service and access their Electronic Health Records Folder conveniently from a smartphone or tablet. The Provincial Council, on the proposal of the councilor for Health and Social Policies Luca Zeni, has started the experimentation of this new mobile application today.
“We are facing an evolution in the use of technology – the councilor for Health and Social Policies, Luca Zeni, said. More and more citizens now use just their mobile phones to access the internet and enjoy online services in a fast, easy and intuitive way. This is why we decided to test a new App that would allow users to look up personal health information through a secure access system.”
Currently, 85,000 Trentino citizens have signed up for TreC, the digital health service platform that allows users to access their Electronic Health Records, consult reports and prescriptions online, make payments for health services, manage their children’s health records and much more.
Based on a study conducted by TrentinoSalute4.0 in collaboration with the University of Trento through 35,000 questionnaires, it emerged that the vast majority of respondents prefer mobile applications to computer access. The objective of this new App is to broaden the user base. The experimentation phase requires that the Trento Province Healthcare System should manage the basic version of the App and that it should gradually release new functions; by the end of the year that will be deploy with the support of the joint FBK/APSS TrentinoSalute4.0 lab.
Citizens will be able to obtain information on how the app works and get support with installing and activating it on their mobile phones during the Trento Smart City, April 12-15, 2018, at the PAT stand in Piazza Duomo in Trento, with this schedule:
